Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Reslice ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Reslice is an AI-powered content creation platform that transforms long-form content into platform-specific formats including X threads, LinkedIn posts, Facebook posts, Instagram captions, TikTok scripts, YouTube scripts, and email newsletters. The Service is provided as a web application accessible through modern web browsers. Features and availability may vary between plan tiers (Free, Standard, Pro, and Prepaid), as described on our Pricing page.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep this information up to date.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the Service. You may not create multiple free accounts to circumvent usage limits.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Submit content that you do not own or have the right to use
  • Submit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Use the Service to generate spam, misleading content, or content that impersonates others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
  • Use the Service in any manner that could disable, overburden, or impair the Service
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service (except through our official API, if applicable)
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without our written permission
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service

5. Content Ownership

Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to the content you submit to the Service ("Input Content"). You grant Reslice a limited, non-exclusive license to process your Input Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

Generated Content: The content generated by the Service ("Output Content") is owned by you. You may use, publish, and distribute Output Content without restriction. However, you are solely responsible for reviewing Output Content before publication and ensuring it meets your standards and complies with applicable laws.

Our Content: The Service, including its design, features, code, documentation, and branding, is owned by Reslice and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

The Service offers multiple plan tiers, including free and paid options. Current pricing and plan details are listed on our Pricing page and may be changed with 30 days advance notice to existing subscribers.

Free Tier: Provides a limited number of content generations per month at no cost. No payment method is required.

Standard and Pro Subscriptions: Billed monthly via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period.

Prepaid Plan: A one-time purchase providing a fixed number of content generations and social media postings. Prepaid credits do not expire but are non-refundable once any credits have been used. Prepaid plans do not auto-renew.

If we are unable to process your payment, we may suspend or downgrade your account after providing reasonable notice and opportunity to update your payment method.

7. Refunds

Refund requests for subscription payments (Standard or Pro) may be considered on a case-by-case basis. To request a refund, contact [email protected] within 14 days of the payment.

Prepaid plan purchases are non-refundable once any generation or posting credits have been used. Unused prepaid purchases may be refunded within 14 days of purchase.

8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate content. While we strive for high-quality output, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate material. You are responsible for reviewing all Output Content before publishing or distributing it. Reslice is not liable for any consequences arising from the publication of unreviewed Output Content.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime in advance.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reslice and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service
  • Any content generated by the Service
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Any third-party conduct on the Service

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reslice and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is harmful to our business interests. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the country of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Georgia.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
