Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 11, 2026

1. Introduction

Reslice ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our web application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). Please read this policy carefully. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and authentication credentials. If you sign up through a third-party provider (such as Google), we receive your basic profile information from that provider.

Content Data: When you use Reslice to create content, we temporarily process the text you submit to generate outputs. We do not permanently store the content you submit or the outputs generated.

Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or full payment details on our servers. We receive and store transaction IDs, subscription status, and billing email from Stripe.

Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, generation counts, timestamps, browser type, device type, and IP address.

Cookies and Tracking: We use essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We use analytics cookies to understand how users interact with our Service. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Process your content creation requests
  • Manage your account and subscription
  • Process payments and prevent fraud
  • Send you service-related communications (account verification, billing notices, security alerts)
  • Send you marketing communications (only with your consent; you can opt out at any time)
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve our product
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. AI and Content Processing

Your content is processed by our AI systems solely to generate the outputs you request. We do not use your content to train, improve, or fine-tune our AI models. Your content is not shared with other users or made publicly available.

Content is processed in real time and not permanently stored after generation is complete.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may have access to your data:

  • Authentication and database providers: For secure user account management and data storage
  • Stripe: Payment processing
  • Google Gemini: AI content generation (content is processed per their API terms; we use the API configuration that opts out of data retention for model training)
  • Cloud infrastructure providers: For application hosting and media storage
  • Social Media Platforms (X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram): When you connect a social media account, we store an encrypted OAuth token to post content on your behalf. We access only the permissions required for posting. Your social media credentials are never stored in plain text. You may disconnect any social account at any time, which revokes our access and deletes the stored token. For TikTok and YouTube, Reslice generates video scripts and descriptions only; no account connection is required.

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing its use of your data. We encourage you to review their policies.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Usage data is retained in aggregated, anonymized form for analytics purposes. Payment records are retained as required by tax and financial regulations. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256), secure authentication with hashed passwords, regular security audits, and access controls limiting employee access to user data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights:

  • Right of Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate personal data
  • Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data
  • Right to Restriction: Request restriction of processing of your personal data
  • Right to Portability: Request a machine-readable copy of your personal data
  • Right to Object: Object to processing of your personal data for certain purposes

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
